will i get a 30c cx tyre on my frame?

Just won got some Michelin - Cyclo Cross Mud 2 Tyres on ebay for my fixed bike to do a bit of cross riding on.
I checked that they would fit the forks and seatstay bridge but not the chainstay area and thats the smallest part!
Its an old pug frame.
I'm gonna find out when the arrive but thought i would ask

Unlikely - most road frames are a squeeze beyond 25mm and too close clearance just traps mud.Make mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..0

NO thats not what I want to hear, just been out on my bike and the only problem is rear wheel grip!0
