Bolt threaded in crank arm... help

Hi
I've got a Shimano XT HT2 crank, and the bolt has threaded in the left hand crank arm and the allen key just spins around. Any advice on how to get it out without damaging the threads in the crank arm? If worse comes to worse I will have to fork out £35 for a new left hand crank arm, or just splash out on some new SLX cranks.
Any advice is much appreciaated!
Cheers

Put the other bolt back in tight. to take the load of the dead bolt. then hammer a tork bit in and remove bolt.
then fit a new bolt tight and then back each one off a bit at a time till you can remove the arm."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

Have you just rounded the head off the bolt or actually stripped the thread on the bolt or maybe even in the crank itself?0

Just rounded the head off, so the allen key just spins in the hole.0

Just follow nick's post and you should be able to get it out. The key is tightening the other bolt up to take the strain off the knackered one0
