I have a Top peak seat post mounted rack and I am afraid it isnt much use. It just cant carry any useful weight, load it up with anything weighing more than a couple of pounds and it flaps about every time you hit a bump. It needs bracing struts but that defeats the object with a full suss bike.

I have gone back to a rucksack.

Don't commute on a full suss - just buy a cheap old road/tourer and commute on that with a proper rack/panniers.

    Less nickable too.
