this landing nailed my rear wheel, nice flat spot on it, bent the chain ring, twisted the chainguide and ripped 3 studs out of my right pedal

They look good Jimbob.
I don't know breaking the bike already, you go and spend loads of money on it, then the damn thing breaks doing what it was intended to do!
You didn't sound too bothered by the broken stuff though? Easty to sort?0 -

well you should have bought a better bike then shouldnt you!!
only joking, the bike looks sweet. shame about the wheel, gonna be long before its sorted?0 -
ive retightened the spokes and trued it up by eye, to near on straight, just going to ride it until it dies then send it back to syncros and complain like hell0

Something doesn't smell good to me.
As I know that's a DH bike. And the last jump(pic) is just a moderate jump for that bike,
so how come is damaged, especialy the rear wheel. Did you put XC wheels?
Those jumps your bike should take on joke.
Nice pics btw.0 -
its the syncros dps dh rims
Intended use: Hardcore Freeride / DH - Disc specific
/ True Track Technology™
/ Every rim is stress relieved and work hardened after
joining to be the flattest, best built rims available
/ 100% QA on each and every rim ensures near-perfect
round and runout
/ Concentrically drilled spoke holes available in 32h drilling
/ Full, grommet-style eyelets prevent lost nipples during wheel builds
/ Weight: 26"=685g (per rim), 24"=617g (per rim)
/ Width: 32mm / ERD: 26"=537, 24"=485
the last jump pic is a 30ft gap, which isn't massive really, the landing was pretty soft with a few small rocks on it but still it shouldn't dent the rim and flat it, btw tyres were running at 30psi0
