Garmin download problems

For a year now, I've been downloading the info from my Foreunner 305 to my laptop.

Recently however, I can download the info (to Garmin training centre), but when I close the program, it doesn't save the info.

It is still on the unit, so next time I sync it, all the old routes are downloaded again.

Any ideas?

    I don't use the garmin training centre. Never had any problems with it, I just didn't think it was very good.

    I use Sporttracks instead http://www.zonefivesoftware.com/SportTracks/ which is free to use. You should be able to grab the datafile for the garmin training centre and import it into sporttracks and so you won't loose your old data.
