morning folks,

just wondering what your thoughts are on spec comparing the Specialized Myka Expert 2008 http://www.evanscycles.com/products/specialized/myka-expert-2008-womens-mountain-bike-ec001465 against the 2009 model http://www.citycycleschichester.com/default.aspx?p=1731 :?:

buying the 2008 seems a no brainer for the difference in price ....

have I just answered my own question !

Defo get the 2008 model. I just bought the 08 for my girlfriend after comparing the specs and as you point out it is a total no-brainer.

It is really nice little bike, I'm very pleased with it. Got it in a 13" for my gf (she is 5'2"), it is so diddy!
You will need to change the tyres for something more suitable to this time of year - she had no grip at all up leith hill on saturday, so budget for that.

Just realised, we got the Pro rather than the expert, same logic applies though.

If she needs the 13.5" one then the pro is worth a look for only £50 more, they still have some in stock at evans.

Aye, my misses has the 08 Expert also in a 13.5 and its a tidy little bike for the money.

When I compare hers to my XL Yeti looks like a Thumbelina bike.
