Hi,
Can anyone tell me what the recommended torque is for carbon rails on a fizik saddle.
Also, what the torque should be for titanium rails on a fizik saddle.
Many Thanks
Luke

    It depends on the seatpost
Carlsberg don't make cycle clothing, but if they did it would probably still not be as good as Assos

Thanks for the reply. The seatpost says you can go up to 22nm but I think this would be way too much for the saddle - especially with the carbon rails - what do you think?

What post is it? Record and Chorus is 18-22, but my Enigma post is just 10. USE Alien is 3. Must admit having tighten the Enigma to 10 on a Arione Ti rail, 22 seems excessive - but if that's the design then maybe it's correct.

  • Shouldn't it say on the rails or saddle?
I love the smell of carbon in the morning

5Nm should be more than enough - put some carbon assembly paste on them to stop them slipping.
Make mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..
