Pics in posts?

Just put a couple of ads in the cassified section and wondered how people substitute pic links by writing 'here' or such like instead of the long link address? Cheers

The full URL web address goes after the equals size, and the text you want to appear as the hyperlink goes between the brackets.

If you wish to shoe the image then type :



Then you get the whole picture.

For instance with the "URL commands" you get:

My commuting trike

With the "Img" commands you get:

Or you can use both to get a clickable picture:

like so...

The link must point to a valid picture file format ie .jpg or .bmp - so the URL must end in one of these extensions.

Try right-clicking on the picture on Facebook and then click "Properties" - it should give you the picture URL ending with .jpg. Copy this into the brackets and it should work ok.

Are you using the page address or the picture address?

You need to use the picture address. Right click on the picture, select properties and copy the address from there.

it can be helpful to set yourself up a photobucket or flickr account to drop your pictures onto and then just use their img or link tags its a simple copy/paste function, good if you're planning on sticking the same image in a few different places.
