Hi

Just a quick question. I've just had a new pair and the washing instructions say to wash them in cold water.

Does washing them at 40 degrees damage them?

Thanks

Nope, I wash them with all my other stuff with no problems. Don't put them in the tumble dryer though.
  • Washing is rarely a problem. Tumble dryers are.

Personally i've started washing everything cool by hand and letting them drip dry after a bit of gentle squeezing.

Great. Thanks for the quick replies. (Just put them in!)
  • Think you'll find they'll be alright, Mrs tank always washes mine with everything else and I haven't had to chastise her for ruining them yet!!!

  • I wash mine on 30 degrees just to be on hte safe side. No problems so far. Good shorts IMHO

Some washing machines have a 'SPORT' setting for this type of thing or you can use the Wool or handwash settings or -40. You can tumble dry on a synthetic setting on the dryer but prob. only for 20 mins then airdry the kit.
