Overshoes

I am currently using Endura overshoes, they are brilliant at keeping my feet warm and dry but after only one winter in them they are falling to pieces and won't last much longer. Anyone know of any similar ones that are a bit more durable?

I suppose their durability depends on how much wear they get. I had some bargain bucket Ozzo ones and they lasted several seasons. In fact I've just given them to a friend who's just getting set up with the gear and i've purchased some tarmac NPU+ PRO'
which seem to be doing a fine job, in every respect.Tail end Charlie

I've had a problem with Endura too. Generally they are hardly worn but I am seriously scuffing the inside of the ankle on something, presumably the chainstays. On my winter Kinesis Tk the brazing for the rear gear cable sticks out a bit. That might explain the R/H side but not the left (I might sometimes wear the R shoe on the left foot though which would explain it). I guess neoprene is delicate.0

Surely if you wear one over shoe on the other foot it would be on the other side of the foot? As for the potential damager being a loose cable would it not be worth clipping the cable to stop the problem?
I have the Enduras and have been well impressed, even after the half tear caused by a premature take off at the tail end of a hill climb leaving me in a heap! (think I made it to the top within the first 3)0 -
I've the same shoes - really nice but yeah - they damage easily. I've bunged some duck tape on the abraded bits cos I cant see what they could be catching on. Failing that - you can get stuff to repair wetsuits ?0

Youre right about the damage being on the other side when the shoes are swapped though. I can't figure out what is causing it0 -
I'm half way through the second season with mine. They are ok but I'll need somerthing else for next winter - not the most durable.
