Hi.

Anyone got these wheels? Happy with the pruchase. I am thinking about getting a pair myself.

Apart from the spoking pattern, these are virtually identical to Campagnolo Shamal Ultras - a very stiff wheel.
Make mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..
  • Don't the Fulcrums have aluminium spokes?

I've got a pair that I race on. Top quality super smooth wheels in my opinion. Tub version is used by many pro racing teams. Mine are clinchers but still very light. Look on the Fulcrum site if you want the technical spec.

yes - as do the shamals - and Eurus for that matter - they look great - but the big chunky alu spokes probably aren't the most aero things you will buy.

look great though - personally I prefer the G3 spoking of the campag ones, but many prefer the fulcrum.

I have a set of Eurus which are very very light and extremely stiff - probably not the most 'comfy' of wheels - there is not a single bit of 'give' in them (i'm 11 and half stone) but I love them.
  • just bought them & awaiting delivery. where are you buying yours from -& at what price i'll be gutted if you've found them cheaper!!
