I'm thinking - only idly mind - about putting some wheel stripes on the Marin, MotoGP-stylee. Is this the saddest idea ever or is it cool as ?

I think if it was colour coordinated with the rest of the bike it could look ok. Otherwise, no.0

I think it would look quite good. Never thought of it on a mtb before but I do have them on my R6 and that looks very smart.
you can always remove them if it looks shit!!0 -

Someone on here (might have been SHeepsteeth?) put some red reflectives on a Stumpy and it looked alright. Not my cup of tea though really."Melancholy is incompatible with bicycling." ~James E. Starrs0

I wouldnt be overly adverse to that idea...not reflective tho...white or...maybe just white actually.0

I assume these would go on the rims? What about on the tyres, I really want some completely white tyres... The only ones i could think of are the twin rails, but they have black sidewalls.
Anyone?0 -
If you mean the coloured rim stripes that some motorbikes have on their wheels then its sad as you like imo.Do or do not there is no try!
