Looking around for a new bike and was wondering, just in terms of the frame, are there any differences between the comp, team and pro frames for the CR1.

Cheers, Will.

    Will,

All the frames are the same except for the graphics, more white, less white, no yellow, etc... although they used to use different layup thickness for the pro so it was lighter, I believe something like the Addict infact, but when the addict came out all the CR1 frames eventually became the same frame/ weight. So its simply a colour/ graphics choice really although they are all fairly LOUD.

I have got the CR1 pro, its about the least bling of the three. I am really happy with it, hard, stiff but real fast. I don't think you will be disappointed if you get one. :D

  • Theyre fantastic i have two!
  • They are really stiff, although if you're not used to it, because the back end is so light, it might seem a little skittish in comparison to your current bike.

how much difference would there be between focus variado frame(got now) and a Cr1 or maybe Cervelo soloist?, just thinking what to save up for in a long time.

    Cheers Joe
