Have just done the sums on my Stumpjumper HT Comp and all the bits I have on it (or will have in the next couple of days) and I have to say I am well happy 8)
I bought the bike on the Cycle2Work scheme, so saved a big chunk of Tax / NI and VAT.
I have since (with the consent of the boss who in reality still owns the bike till the final payment) upgraded many of the parts and sold on the old parts to people on here or on ebay.
In total, after adding up all the money I have spent on the bike (including the purchase price of the bike minus Tax/NI/VAT) and then taking away the money I made due to selling the bits, plus my old two bikes that were not being used, and a nice big £300 cashback that I got due to a mobile phone upgrade) - I will have only spent £829.34! :shock: 8)
