What size seat clamp do I need for a seat post specified as 30.9mm ?

    it depends on the frame.

    Maybe a 34,9mm one but not always.

    do you mean the thickness of the frame tube. I'm after a hope QR for 08 R Ridge if that helps. How do I find out for sure?

    so a r ridge made buy who?

    marin?

    so if it is then as the bike has a front mech it has to be a front mech size as the seat tube is not hydro formed and is a plain tube.

    and 34,9mm is a front mech size.

    Yes its a Marin Rocky Ridge.

    How do you work this out for the 4 sizes ive seen?
