is there a way i can adjust them so its abit harder to compress?
i dont really wanna start fiddling with them without any advise.

Heavier springs and oil. Basically by fidling. You could get your LBS do to it for you.

ive read the main part on suspension but still dont understand the damper adjust?
    will that do anythin?

also i crashed into a fence and have grazed one of the stanchions.
not sure if this is a problem everytime the seal passes over it?
anythin i can do to clean it up abit?
