Hi,

Ive been watching alot of road racing, both UK and world, and it looks like most riders use white / silver shoes? What colour shoes do you have, have you colour matched them with your bike and clothing, or just bought anything?

Personally, ive been considerig Shimano R076 - http://www.wiggle.co.uk/p/Cycle/7/Shima ... 360040183/ but im not sure if these look to blingy with a white / black bike, black shorts and this jersey - http://cgi.ebay.com.hk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll ... :X:AAQ::11

What do you think, or should I stick with a basic colour like black or white?

I have a black pair of Sidi's, I did consider the white ones, but I thought they were perhaps a bit too bling for me.

I think you should buy a shoe that fits.

For the record, my Spec BG comps are mainly black, but the colour is incidental and I did not even consider whether they would match my bike, or my kit (which is many and varied anyway). None of this needs thinking about too carefully, in my opinion - or else we will all disappear up our own ar5es...

LOL good point, fit is by far the most important aspect of buying shoes, but im just considering if I should get a basic base colour, or something more blingy, either way the fit will be spot on.

Carlsberg don't make cycle clothing, but if they did it would probably still not be as good as Assos

I like black - but yesterday brought some northwave vertigos - for what seems like a bargain price of £55 - they are mainly silver.

Black and titanium Sidi's but you would not know recently as they have been hidden under neoprene booties(black).

Me too - I'm wearing black right now but ordered the Northwave's yesterday - and couldn't get them in black.

Would never buy white - they'll look grubby in no time even in the summer.

The pro's can wear white as they get new ones a lot more than I do.

I like black anyway - with black socks and mostly black gear.
I'm left handed, if that matters.

Dirty grey agricultural SPD things . Will change to silver for the spring to match bike & lid. Colour of choice, and size not necessarily mutually exclusive. No bling is too much (as long as it fits my bargain basement budget).

White and black Northwaves for Summer. I wouldn't mind some of those black retro styled clipless that came out a few years ago though - can't remember who made them.

They are hard to find in a UK 10.5 I know that much, been trying for about 6 months.

They'll be OK for on the bike leg, perhaps just a bit plain.

At least, for the running leg you must have these
