What tyres?
Hi.
Well one of my tyres is almost totally worn out.
I have a GP4000 and a GP4000S.
I'm wanting some new tyres, should I go with the same ones or anything better for around the same price? I ride in all conditions.
Wanting to buy from Ribble as they have the SKS mudguards for only 17 quid!
Are the Pro Race 3's any good? I heard some bad things about em and there is like 4 different tyres too
Thanks
Will.

I'm not going to answer this post on the principle that there is a search function and this has been asked too many times...Make mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..0

I've heard that PR3s are hopeless in the grip department in winter. IME the PR2s were alright but nothing compared to the Krylions or the Bontrager Race Lites I've got on at the moment.
If you're looking at tyres to use in the winter you might prefer more puncture resistance over weight savings, in which case Krylions or Bontrager Race Lite (especially hard cases) are ideal. Krylions are a bit like dragons eggs to find at the moment, but if you're near a Decathlon you might be able to find some there.0 -
There is a Decathlon 7 miles away but they apparently do the Krylions for like 25 quid.
I think I might just have to get a set of GP4000S's and see how they go, it's getting warmer now and will be spring soon so maybe will be fine.0
