Going to the Tour this year and for the first time I'm going to be driving while over in France. As I'm travelling alone making navigation tricky I am considering investing in a sat nav to make driving easier.Anyone any ideas on best one to use for getting around Tour route(Mont Ventoux area).

  • The other day I saw the Garmin Nüvi 250 on Amazon for £80. I borrowed one for my summer hols in France and it did the job very well. Tempted to get one myself to replace my UK-only sat-nav at that price!

If you have a Nokia phone with the symbian OS there is Nokia maps - pay for a short licence for sat nav use in France. i think they do down to a week.
