Hi, just wondering what advantage the avis speed dial levers give you? what does the speed dial thingy do and does it make much difference?

The speed dial system adjusts the leverage (or cable pull) of the levers. This varies the feel of the brake, from firm (but less powerful) to soft (and more powerful).
