Shadow Visor

Anyone tried these? I have a problem reading my Garmin because of dodgy short-distance eyesight. My distance vision is fine. I have some narrow reading glasses that enable me to see over the specs to see the road ahead etc, and look down through the specs to read the Garmin. Trouble is I then have no protection for my eyes from wind or sunlight. The visor seems like a solution. Any experience of them?

You could try asking Mike Wigley at Peak Audax. I rode with him for a while on one local event and he had a visor attached to his helmet. He seemed to like it. It was a shadowvisor.
