Okay, £400 ish budget, 170lb rider, wanna build up some wheels, try to keep them below 1600grams pretty much decided it'll be a 24 front 28 rear and thinking DuraAce hubs for value... but rims... spokes???
Anyone got any opinions or think otherwise on the hubs, DuraAce seem to have a good rep for price/weight/life/performance?
This one I feel will be a can of worms, haven't had any built before so I'm interested if people are just gonna start saying 'dont bother...get a set of...'.
Opinions and suggestions welcome.

All round use really, tens, training, generally clocking up fresh air... haven't got the room for more than one road bike so its gotta all round for me 4 or 5000 miles a year... reckon 32f and r then? (can keep two wheelsets, got room for that)

More background.... I've budgeted that and mates suggested Mavic Ksyrium Elite's or Easton EA90SL's but I thought I'd consider what I could build up after reading up that the Mavics are good but might have a bit of a name premium attached?
