Hack, built from cheap bits..pics

Hi Guys,
I have had this bike for a while now and tried all sorts of bits on it and built it into very different looking bikes. This is the latest and the best looking i think. It's a steel rigid frame with lots of cheap low end shimano bits bolted to it. It's heavy @ 31 lbs but great fun for messing around on. I built it for around £220 ish
What do you think?

I'm thinking of building up a cheap bike with just £150.
Gonna go old school nice black, green or white frame with V-brakes, Deore Gears (to make a change) and some dirt cheap forks and wheelset for commuting......
Cheers,
Steve
A useful tool...
I've bought a new bike....ouch - result
Can I buy a new bike?...No - no result
AOL hosting is doing my f**king swede in and just can't get it to work...it really is sh!t
Have tried imageshack now, so hope it works. Trouble is i doubt the bike is really even worth looking at.

Looks like a nice build for the money, what frame?

As for it not being worth looking at, you built it, sense of pride in that, not something everyone can do.
Fully rigid, nicely done, always room in the garage for another bike. Funnily enough I did the same thing recently and paired down an old MTD and put rigid forks back on. Use it for commuting now. What you going to use yours for?

I will be mostly using it for looking at and pissing the kids off, when they want to get to their bikes and mine is in the way.
i have just bought a Revolution Courier race, it was the last 2008 18" frame one left in the Edinburgh bike co sale I have 3 bikes now and seemingly less and less time to ride them at the moment. I should have got rid of my rigid bike, but have a real bond with it, as it was great fun building it and it has given me a real understanding of how a bike works. It's also great just to spend the odd free hour tinkering around with it.
What would it be best used for...single track?
