Ive recently bought a back brake version of this and after fitting it I have realised i need it re route the hose however I need to disconnect it from the caliper in order to do this.
My question is if I unscrew the hose at the caliper end has it a valve on it to stop air getting into the system or will i need to rebleed the whole thing?

a bleed is most likely needed."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

its for a spec fsr xc 2006so it needs to go through where the rear shock is and so need to take either the calpier of lever off to route it corretly0

i had to do this to mount my j,5's on my pace rc305 i took the hose off at the master cyclinder end lost a little fluid but didn't require bleeding,.. i also used the oppurtunity to cut the hose down to size.
when i fitted my formula megas to my sc heckler i had to cut the hoses down to size i removed the hose at the master cyclinder again to do this and did not have to bleed the brakes...
same when we fitted magura louise bats to my brothers sc chamelion remove pipe at mast cylinder cut replace all bits refit did not have to bleed....www.bearbackbiking.com
