Can anyone help me identify this bike

I have an old Dawes road bike it was made in the nineties it is steel framed and the forks are also steel it as downtube shifters a shimano Exage rear mech, plain steel wheels with joytech hubs, it also has the words "ultra" on the top tube. ill try to sort the problem out with the bike and hopefully upload pics of it :)

    I think you may have already answered your own question. The bike sounds like it might be a Dawes Ultra Galaxy...

    it's not an ultra galaxy its just an ultra, and the bike is a normal road bike (not a touring bike like the ultra galaxy), in fact it has quite a short headtube and no spacers so it's quite racey, i was just wondering if anybody had any clues about the year it was made.
