Is skewer bend a problem?

I had a slight accident recently where my front wheel spun round 90 degrees and then hit something. A bike shop told me that the front wheel was fine but that my Hope QR skewer was 'very slightly bent, but should not be a problem' (the shaft that is).
Not wanting to do any harm to the central hole through my near brand new wheel (hope pro2 hub), is there any cause for concern here?
I looked down the skewer shaft, and it's maybe 1mm or so out from dead straight...?

Ideally should be repalced, but that sounds very small. When locked, the skewer is under tension. The bend can cause it to lose tension over time and loosen the wheel off.0

You really wont have a problem with that - no need to buy a replacement just yet.0
