A year or so ago I had my old P7 stolen. It was one of the first original P7s. I loved it so much i went and bought another one without even road testing it. Stupid I know but what the hell. Had I of done I would have gone for the fork upgrade which i now regret.

Does anyone know where I can get them upgraded to include the lockout. I understand this comes as a kit.

Somewhere in kent would be nice.

Cheers in advance.

If it is a 2009 P7s it should have the Rock Shox Tora fork with lockout already, you will be able to buy a remote lockout kit so that you have a lever on your bars to turn it on and off instead of using the lever on the fork itself. :D any rock shox dealer should be able to supply one!!

  • Er yeah it would help, sorry.

The forks are the Fox Vanilla's. Bike bought in June 07, saddly has been hanging on the wall ever since. Not having lockouts is kind of being one of the reasons for not riding it much. The other reason is I have a Trek Madone 5.2 which does get used quite abit!

I think you can get a damping cartridge for it (the RL or RLC) or have it upgraded at TFTuned, but won't be cheap!

It is a very active fork with not the best damping. I'd sell it and get a RS Revelation lol.
