Kiron Scandium discontinued??

Was hoping to buy a Kiron Scandium from Wiggle, but saying the 58 has been discontinued...!!

Anyone know what's going on here?

Hoping it's a glitch on their website!

"discontinued" is wiggle speak for they don't have any stock at the moment and they don't know when they will be getting any more in.

best to email them to see what they say about re-stocking

Wiggle tend to put "Discontinued" when they've run out of stock and it'll be a long lead time until they get the stock back in,

........Of course they may never get it back in stock.......

yep.

have spent the last 6 months researching the whole thing, and had a short list.

Planet X have a good deal on, and really, it was too good to miss.

One has to make a decision at some point. It's been a while getting to this, but I feel really happy with the decision.

Just had an email from Wiggle saying

"it looks like the 58 compact really isn't coming back in stock"

Something odd going on, the bike is an 09 version, just come out, and sizes are already being discontinued. After all the rave reviews as well.

Perhaps the strength of the pound has something to do with it??

Hi,

I thought I'd jump in here and clear things up regarding the Kiron Scandium 2009.

The bike is a limited edition and once they are gone they are gone.

The incredible success of the bike has lead to the more popular sizes selling out quicker than expected (we thought we had a seasons worth!) but I would be optimistic about further Kiron models making an appearance in the future.

If you are considering a 52 or 54 I would recommend getting one quick before they are gone as they really fo offer amazing value for money at the moment.

Not sure when it's due to arrive - build queue still needs updating.

Gone for a large (6' 1" with 34 isl) C18 special...

Really looking forward to comparing it to my 2004 spesh allez 16sp!!
