AFAIK they're identical to HED Stingers apart from the stickers. The rims are/were also the same as Planet-X, both have a good reputation from the people I know who ride them.
Make mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..

Well, I'm going to in the market for some aero clinchers this year and while Mavic's Cosmic Carbones and Planet-x are on my shortlist, I can't help keep coming back to these as possibilites as well?

I don't think they've been too widely sold which is why you rarely get much feedback I guess, but on other bike forums I've seen limited posts stating that they are a good, tough and reliable aero wheelset.

I can't believe there's a huge or even noticable difference in performance between these and say the Carbone's, but would be interested to see my assumption tested by any bike mag or website assessing them properly.

he rode all last season on the for time trials, and couldnt fault them!!!

they look cool, pretty well priced, should be a good set of hoops!!!

  • You might want to consider the Flashpoints ( one year old Zipps!!). See link below.

I have a pair of P60s if anyone is interested. Used once nice wheels, my ride now has the Bonti Aeolus 6.5 fitted. Was going to put them on another bike.

    Open to offers.

not really like the stingers. the stingers would be much lighter, they're full carbon tubulers. the dalkia's are an alu rimmed wheel with a carbon fairing - making them much more like the HED Jets.

    Thanks to all
Have decided to order a pair and see how they perform. I ride on flat roads, no hills anywhere near me as i live in the Netherlands. It,s my first pair of carbon deep-rimmed wheels so am curious as to as how they handle. Thanks again to you all for your input, much appreciated.

I'd be interested to know what you think of them. Have had that page as a favourite in browser for a while. I don't compete or anything but the vast majority of my road riding is on the flat.

Might have to get rid of a wheelset before I buy another though. Even the "I run two different manufacturers groupsets..." argument is wearing a bit thin.
