well basically my sun mtx 4x camo rims are nearly dead after removing a 7mm dish and 10mm buckle me thinks its time for a new set got around £50 an end as a budget i'm looking at either purple sas rims or possibly ex721's
any thoughts?
will be going on an identiti 666x which is used for everything XD

my only thing with the 721#s is they are kinda plain i really want a rim to stand out, much like my mtx 4x did in camo,
does anyone have any lairy suggestions?

lol it is true i am a tart lol i mean my bike is relatively plain, i mean kk deity bars not the most subtle or hayes stroker carbons but my focus has always been the rims and i'm gutted to see my mtx's go but i just want something insane
can you get deemax rims seperate?

Don't know much about them to be honest! mavic, some DT, and the cheapies are my area lol.

lol i did look at dt swiss 5.1's but they are veyr very ugly and apparantly have soft side walls

Deemax rims are 28 spoke. XM819's are the same as deemax's, but come in 32holes and are also black.

I'd go for 721's, its pretty much the standard rim for downhill riding. Look round any race day or uplift day and most people will be running them.

i've heard rumours of 721's cracking around the eyelets

yeah i know i'm a bit of a ponce
i would've got 5.1's but heard too much about them denting easily
721's i've read mixed reports with a fair few people complaining about cracking round the eyelets
halo's yes heavy but reportedly bomb proof
considering what i've done to my mtx's my only other thought is 729's??

in terms of being built i have a mate who does do fantastic builds
there is just so much choice lol

I do believe i'll get 721's the only thing is what is this cermaic stuff all about? it doubles the cost of the rim is it worth it??
