Is the Avid Julcy three disc brake compatable with the Gary Fisher Tassajara (current creaks are Maragu Julie's)?

    If it's a post 2000-2001 bike, and has 6-bolt rotor discs rather than centrelock, it should be fine. (I think there were a lot of variations in mount hole spacings on earlier bikes.) You may need the relevant adaptors to allow for change in rotor size, and also depending on whether your fork has "Post mount" or "IS mount" disc mounts, but these should be available easily enough online or from LBS.

    The other thing to watch is hose length. Measure your current hoses, and make sure the replacements are about the same. Otherwise you need to change hoses (if too short)
