My Cove HJ is now the happy owner of one of them new Reba Team maxle lite forks, and seems to be pleased with it.
But I think my new Trance might get jealous and try to prise it away from it sometime soon, even though it inherited the Cove's Revelation.

i unfortunatley managed to get my bike beaten up by tree at whinlatter and it got badly beaten up and ended up with a bust lever and handlebars and knackered grips and a bent front derailleur (which i should be able to bend back).
But i've just spent 120 quid on new stuff like nice new brake levers, new bars, lock on grips and a new pair of pedals soon.
Oh and its soon to have its own clinic to help it recover from my inadequacies, i bought it a workshop stand and might soon buy it a new maintenance kit cos my old one is looking a bit dated

Bought the bike, 08 Stumpy hardtail.
Bought it a first (week) anniversary present of some Juicy 7s.
Will have to treat it to some spiked tires when it snows next. Probably Schwalbe Ice Spikers since it sees a lot of pavement.0 -

My Salsa needs nothing but a good clean and somewhere warm for Christmas. Hate leaving bikes in the cold, wet garage.
My road bike is in need of a new set of wheels thanks to the useless (c)nut holding the wheel of a fiesta managing to push me off the road. At least it has new tyres to celebrate the new year, even if I'm too lazy/busy to put them on...jedster wrote:Just off to contemplate my own mortality and inevitable descent into decrepedness.
FCN 8 off road because I'm too old to go racing around.0 -
i bought my self a bike just before crimbo so i think that counts, and i spent a bit of my crimbo money on a pair of grips and general bits of rubish like cables, tubes etc,
