What tyres should I buy?
I have Vittoria Rubino Pros on my bike and I think the rear is coming up for replacement. Should I stick with the same or try something new? As these are the only tyres i've ridden (except for a short time on Armadillos on another bike) I'm not qualified to know if they are good or not except that i have never had a puncture.
I'm also wondering about going 25 mm for more comfort and I have been recommended Specialized Pro 23/25s.
I ride Sportives and time trials.

I have Michelin Pro Race 3 on both bikes. I swear by them no matter what the weather is like. They are a tad pricey though and there isn't a hige difference between the Pro Race 2s which are significantly cheaper especially on ebay.0

Big fan of Vredestein Fortezza Tricomps. For their quoted 23mm size they're quite big (compared to a 23mm GP4000S) and give a lovely ride. Plenty of grip to be had too. Not the hardest wearing tyre I've used mind but good puncture resistance.
I am thinking of trying out some Vittoria Open Pave EVO CGs.
As for the move to 25m, I personally have a far more favourable opinion of Conti GP4000 tyres since investing in a set of 25s.
Don't know which bike it is you're buying them for but IMO clearances on the Allez are pretty bloody tight with 25s.0 -

The Wilier. The Allez came with Armadillos. Thanks0 -
I have just ordered Michelin Pro 3's following the advice of guys I cycle regularly with. They have patiently waited on too many occasions recently while I sorted punctures in my worn out Vittoria Rubino Pros!
If your in no particualr rush I'll try and provide you with some comparative comments once they arrive in the next few days...0 -
