poploc problems

my poploc is proving so troublesome that i just want rid of the damn thing. however i still want to be able to adjust the compression damping at the fork crown. so i guess i need some little dial thing which i don't seem to have..
suggestions??

You would also need to remove the spring from inside the damper.
You can still 'turn' the dial without the poploc atatched though it is not the same as the original dial.
Fisher outdoors are the one for spares.0 -

You need to take the damper cartridge out and remove the spring inside it. There is a guide for this somewhere, will have to find it! Only poploc equipped forks have this spring.0

You can modify the motion control cartridge yourself. Takes a couple of minutes and is dead easy.
