Convirting to Single Speed?

i am thinking about convirting to single speed because i do dirt jumping but i havent had any experience with it and i wanted to know is this all i need

You will also need a chain if you current bike has a 9 speed one (27spd bike). If its a 8 (24spd) then just the kit. The sprocket that comes with the kit is wider than the sprockets on a 9speed cassette. 8 and 9 speed chains are 2 different widths.

You'll probably also need a chain tensioner such as a Gusset Bachelor or OnOne Doofer, and you may find a half-link chain like a Gusset Slink easier to get tensioned correctly.
