What would win in a fight, a Giro Hex or a Xen?

Just been trying on a few helmets, and it seems I have a Giro-shaped head, which suits me fine. But I can't decide whether to cheap out on a Hex, or spend a little more for a Xen. (I currently wear, and like, a Bell Faction but to be honest it's just too hot)
If I settle for an ugly colour, the cheapest I can find a Hex for is £40 delivered, or £60 for an ugly Xen. Not a big difference. (both in the titanium camo colours)
Or, if I go with a colour that isn't actually horrendous, I end up with £54 for a Hex or £80 for a Xen.
It seems that both offer a very similiar package, is it right to say that the Xen has slightly better base-of-skull coverage?
I'm fairly sure either will work perfectly well for me- I wouldn't cheap out and buy something that just simply works less well, but it doesn't seem like you get an awful lot more for the money here...
Oh, can anyone beat these prices?

The Hex is said by some to be better ventilated then the Xen! I would go for a Hex unless the Xen looked significantly on my head."Melancholy is incompatible with bicycling." ~James E. Starrs0

hex does it for me0

im another hex wearer but even though my head is massive, the hex makes it look tiny as it is a pretty massive overall shape. tis very comfy though, good looking an does reach further down the back of your head so offers a bit more protection.0

Im in the market for a new lid too.
Are there much technical differences between the 2, does the Xen give more protection?0 -
