    He's a shorter distance specialist, those longer hillier versions are perhaps less his taste. Still a contender but not a racing certainty, no?

    If he doesn't trash himself in the mountains he could have more in the tank for the TT's than guys like Basso, Armstrong or VDV. Basso has said the hilly TT is technical which suits Cancellera too.

    Hadnt Cancellera said that he was going to focus more on the Classics he hadnt won? Or has there been a change of plans since the sponsor fell threw?
    Take care of the luxuries and the necessites will take care of themselves.

    Most of the classics are before the Giro. Especially the Tour of Flanders which is the race he is targeting the most, apparently.
