Hi, I just bought a Halfords bike trailer off ebay for carrying my little ones. It is without instructions or packaging. For some reason, I assumed that it attached to the chainstay but I am now lead to believe it attaches to the rear axle. The fitting bracket is not what I was expecting, can anyone enlighten me as to how I fit it?

Also, I read in an issue of C+ an age ago about a light that fitted to the very thin flag pole of the trailer. I think by way of a small elastic band. Anyone know the make or model?

IME the brackets I've seen clamp to the LH chainstay or clamp around the seatstay/chainstay near the dropout. Can you upload a pic of the clamp?
I've added a signature to prove it is still possible.

Not necessarily - the one I have fits under the skewer. As you suggest though, pictures would help a lot.
