Blackburn Neuro 5.0 - Cadence not working

As the title suggests!
Last week, nothing worked, but Ive changed all batteries and re-linked by pressing the silver button on the reverse. Its now up and running apart from the cadence monitor. Moisture had entered the wheel sensor where the battery goes and I think that this moisture may of frozen on one of my rides over last week and done some irrepairable damage.
Anyone else has a similar situation?
Do I have to buy another unit at £30?

This may not be the answer you are looking for but, I took the blackburn i had once and tossed it in a skip , it was THE most annoying bike computer i ever owned and i wouldnt dream of buying another. Once the blackburn was binned i bought a wired Cateye Strada and i havent looked back. Those things are war proof and they are the biz, I suggest you think about doing similar, Cateye are just wonderful products and the Strada has cadence feature.

Jimmy I think there is a similiar thread with the Blackburn 4.0 (THEY HAVE A LIFETIME GUARANTEE), The magnet fell off ,faulty build IMHO, so I contacted Wiggle, who (after some tooing and frowing), are replacing the magnet, and thus the cadence should work again.
Many Thanks
