I drove past today and did not have time to stop. I noticed they sell Specialized and also sore a massive sign saying "Any bike, any make... half price"

Before I go al the way over to check it out does anyone know what the deal is. I am guessing there must be a catch somewhere...

    Never been in there myself, the only way to find out is to pop in I suppose, just need to find somewhere to park unfortunaltely

    looking at their website if they are telling the truth then you can get tatsty stuff like a Willer Izoard Centaur for £1k ... i doubt that very much ... i'm guessing it will be what they have in stock and will also liekly disclude any 2009 bikes ...

    might be worth a pop tho as they well Trek, Speccy and Willier ...

    let us know how you got on ... might be worth £100 worth of petrol ...

    I think you probably missed the bit that said about their Cycle to Work scheme.

    I don't know for sure, bet i bet that's the case.

    They will be referring to the cycle to work scheme. The ad is rather dishonest and the relevant trading standards office may have something to say, but I wouldn't expect any different froma chain firmly rooted in the "geezer" region..

    I feel like going down and demanding my half rice bike now ... if they are mis-advertising C2W then i would fancy my chances in court ... unless of course you can't read the small print while driving past the primary school at 8.45am doing 40 ...
