sunglasses & energy bars
ive tried sis go, powerbar performance&ride bar, clif bar & high5 bar range. for value for money and peformance would like to know what other energy bar brands others have stayd with or used various through out the year?
also looking a pair of rudy project or oakley radar/ pro m frame sunglasses but cant decide on what to choose prefer just to have lenses for bright sunlight only. have a pair of ekynox with yellow lenses for night riding tho there a quite a gap on the corners so im guessing i should be looking at a ones for small face.

I've just switched to Stinger bars, which I really like. No chance of eating the bars on the go though as they're rather substantial!

now call be tight fisted, but figs rolls, cereal bars and a pair of fake oakley radars from a street market in bangkok do me just fine.0

Homemade flapjacks are hard to beat. Chocolate, banana and walnut. Mmmmmmmm.0

I use Sainsbury's basic cereal and raisins Bars, 79 pence for 6 of them... they're not too bad and much easier to chew than the SIS ones
90 calories each, so you have to carry twice as many, but they are tiny...

Clif crunchy peanut butter bars all the way
I'm addicted to them, started ordering them in boxes of 14 now!
Rudy Project Rydon for me, photochromic lenses for dull days, and Fire Iridium ( red ) lenses for bright sunny days, nice case to keep em in too!
Cheers,

is it the sx version of the ekynox you have? ... if not, get those as they are made for smaller faces and you get a few colour options ... i have them and they work just fine ... i want another pair in a different colour so i must think they do the job ...
i wouldn'r spend the extra oennies on oakleys if i was you ... unless you have plenty of cash ... like everything in cycling, fashions will change in a year or two and you don't want to have spent £150 on something you no longer want to wear ...0 -
Poucher, Fire Iridium isnt that for oakleys.
fluff. youve been here? http://www.cyclestore.co.uk/rangeViewer.asp?categoryID=254
its the ekynox i have. bought many years ago for £60. i thought a rim less pair of sunglasses would be more comfortable.0 -
Yep I went there first I think, the mk1 site I linked has the same glasses 25 quid cheaper and free p&p!
I have some original Minutes which I still use, but are looking a bit beaten up after 7 or 8 years, I don't splash out on glasses very often but hang onto them when I do.0 -
Torq bars are chewy, natural and scientific with no fat. Buy them on line. You can buy a box of 24 assorted flavours. Their drink powder is okay too.0

Whats the difference in bars, gels, and powders? Are they meant for the same job or am i missing something......................again :?winter beast: http://i497.photobucket.com/albums/rr34 ... uff016.jpg
