Rapha Black of course. What other colour could it possibly be?0 -

i saw that on ebay, did you win it??0

Don't be silly - you need something more like this to go with a Rapha jacket

Could do with Bora Ultra 2s and 11v with a proper chainset. Otherwise bang on - Rapha would be proud!0

There is only one bike to go with a Rapha jacket surely, and that is the Condor Leggero Rapha team edition.

Nice. It's even got the pink bits to go with the pink bits in the jacket. Shame about the Shimano though, you would have thought they would have used Campag. I wonder why they use Colnagos in their ads when they could use these? It's also a shame that the frame doesn't follow the line of the rear wheel exactly.0 -
Is there a two-wheeled equivalent of a silver 3-series?Make mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..0

Hi there.
Is that a compact chainset?
Cheers, Andy0 -

I actually think the 08' version is lovely too:

although alas with shitmano again. I just love the piano-gloss-blackness of it all. Nice paint.0 -

I fear it is - hence my suggestion it needs a proper one :-)
Shimano just have more sponsorship money to slosh - I can't see Rapha turning Campagnolo down but they probably didn't offer anything useful! They have to pay for the team somehow...0 -
Very nice
I do believe it is a compact
Wilwil, how will you feel when you've owned that bike for two years, and after four years?
It would be nice to have something like that as its a great statement of where the bike is now. In four years time, it'll have scuffs, and the componentry which is already out of date, will seem ancient
I ask the question not to curb any joy about putative ownership, more to examine the mental process of bike acquisition
A bike like that induces lust, and makes the mouth water doesn't it?
When is one sated? Is it down to the number of bikes, having achieved perfection just once, or perhaps a process of "going through" the bike craze-acquiring the knowledge and experience to make "that choice" ultimately moving onto another hobby?

Interesting comments Ken. I think most of the time it is a 'want' and not a 'need' and a bit like a new car, you got to have one at least once in your life. Same goes for an expensive bike marque.
For me it isn't anything to do with snobbiness, rather getting what you're paying for. Quality.0 -
I don't own the Colnago, I wish I did! I was looking for a winter hack and came across it and liked it a lot and thought I would share it with you. You can own it for around £4000.00 just bid on ebay. At the moment its hanging in a New York apartment as eye candy.
I'm afraid I'll just have to stick with the jacket and my Wilier. Oh well.0
