24 hour race

Has anybody got any recomendations for a good beginers 24hr mtb race?

There is a few of us with passes, but some of the lads can only just do a lap of llandegla!

    We're looking at the Bontrager TwentyFour 12 in July 09

    Never done anything like it before, Ive even asked in the Racing section, but had little response.

    There is a fun category for 6+ riders, which we'll be entering no doubt.

    If anyone has any advice, would be good to hear from you.

    DO IT!!!!! We did it last year and it was fantastic fun

    There is very little "real" competitiveness except between your team and the ones weach sideof you (I think we had a big, serious discussion about how to move from 21st place to 19th!!) and it will give you some idea just how fast the pro's can go

    If you do one lap and give up who cares!!

    Do it - you will not regret it!
