Rear disc brakes on old orange P7, is this possible?

I have a well loved 1997 Orange P7 and would like to change over to discs. Pretty easy up front, but is it possible at the rear? I have no mounts at all, so are there adapters available. Thanks, Nick

Possibly! You can get adaptors from a company called A2Z, but they work best with flat dropouts. Many stel frames have the cowled droputs, but I have seen it done with some filing.

Problem maybe that thin tubed rear stays will not handle the disc forces, certainly not designed for it.

Hi, I had an Orange C16 and bought the A2Z adapter from E-bay, but couldn't get it to tighten up enough to stop the brake from squealing , that was until I got someone at work to weld it on, worked a treat.......
