Greetings ALL
Returned to MTB-ing after being away for more than a few years, my how the game has moved on !!! Anyhow need some help and advice on a new steed. I have approx £1,500 quid to spend - some info ;
- I am 43 yrs old & 16 stone (hence the need increase in activity and return to 2 wheels).
- I will use the bike mainly for weekend wood jaunts/singletrack with the occaisional 12 mile road hike home from work.
- I am drawn to a XC sussy bike but maybe way off the mark here.
My previous bike (sold many moons ago) was a Kona Explosif circa 1994 which I loved although it was a tad long/stretched for long Sunday rides. I have seen a big spec Rockrider 9 xc at Decathlon, I am not a badge snob so if it's good - that's all good.
Please help peeps as the flab needs to go ...
