specialized carbon seatpost torque setting
got a specialized s works seatpost which i have used for 6 months. does anybody know the torque settings for the post clamp and saddle clamp. main problem i have had is with the saddle slipping back when climbing hills. as the post is carbon i dont want to over tighten it.

i can;t remember the figure but I have one and I have a torque wrench and it is bloody tight!
I couldn't believe the figure quoted and I still have problems with it slipping down sometimes.
perhaps some carbon assembly compound is in order?0 -
carbon assembly compound works wonders, as does vaseline...0

I only tighten my seat post to 35 inch pounds and it doesn't slip. But it does make a noise so may be its not tight enough.0

its not the post that slips down its the saddle slipping back thats the problem0
