Problems with my SKS Kompressor floor pump

I've had my SKS Kompressor floor pump for more years than I can remember and it has always performed faultlessly, until now. It is the old style two part head version, but it has become a lottery whether I can get any air into my tyres. Anyone else ever had this problem. I think I need a new head piece. Are these available to buy ??

    The beauty of the SKS Kompressor is that you can always get spare parts. Probable that you just need a new washer rather than a complete head unit (but both are available)

    It seems that a part of the head unit had worked loose. A quick tighten up and now its working as good as ever. Cheers thetrotter.
