Time Impact pedal compatibility

I've got some Time Impact pedals. As I don't want to splash out on new pedals but I'm thinking about some new winter shoes will any shoe fit with the right cleat, ie SPD/SPD-SL/Look? At the minute I've got Specialized shoes with a Time cleat which fits ok but I can't remember when I bought the pedals if they can be used with any shoe!
