Does any one know of a good quote refering to how you can never have too many bikes.
All quotes would be great.

There - you can quote me if you want.
(sorry - not much use and no I don't know any famous ones)0 -
"Would you rather have one that you ride all of the time, or many different types that you can ride depending on your mood"
Can relate to bikes or women0 -

The ideal number of bikes is n+1, where n is the number of bikes you currently own.0

I usually try to animatedly explain that I have different bikes for entirely different purposes, then go into detail explaining why one bike is a bike for touring and light off-road and couldn't be used for anything else, whilst another is a bmx and certainly couldn't replace the former and so on. By this logic I still need a track bike, a summer training bike, a time-trialling machine etc
The more detailed and carefully you explain the answer the better for this to work - it's sort of like hypnosis'07 Langster (dropped one tooth from standard gearing)

The optimum number of bikes is always one more than you currently own.0
