Does any one know of a good quote refering to how you can never have too many bikes.

All quotes would be great.

Thanks

Simon

"Would you rather have one that you ride all of the time, or many different types that you can ride depending on your mood"

Can relate to bikes or women :)

"I still have less bikes than you have pairs of shoes"

This is normally a response to the traditional refrain of:
"Why do you need another bike - you can only ride one at a time?"

I usually try to animatedly explain that I have different bikes for entirely different purposes, then go into detail explaining why one bike is a bike for touring and light off-road and couldn't be used for anything else, whilst another is a bmx and certainly couldn't replace the former and so on. By this logic I still need a track bike, a summer training bike, a time-trialling machine etc

The more detailed and carefully you explain the answer the better for this to work - it's sort of like hypnosis

The optimum number of bikes is always one more than you currently own.
