Bike Holiday Insurance

Sorry if it's been asked before, I couldn't find it through looking.
I'm planning on going to the Alps for a week holiday next year, and am starting to look for insurance providers in advance.
Problem is, most of the places I'm looking at will only cover personal effects (inc bikes) up to a maximum of £1,500. These are places claiming to be MTB specialists. How on earth does that work? The number of bikes worth so much more than that, i'm sure, far out numbers those that're less. Mine included.
Are there any specialists that you can recommend or suggest? Perhaps ones that'll cover the cost of my bike in case it gets stolen whilst I'm away, as well as covering the obvious other things.
Thanks,
Thebear.

You could try www.direct-travel.co.uk as we use them for snowboarding and they give good cover for cheap pricing. They do cover mountain biking too but it would be worthwhile giving them a ring to get the specifics of what that cover would get you.0
